NICE Bus requests technical and price proposals from qualified firms to provide Bus Advertising Services on the interior and exterior of NICE Bus revenue fleet that consist of 40 foot Fixed Route Transit Buses, Para-Transit Cut-a-Way vehicles and Braun/Dodge Mini-Vans.

The scope of services include: producing, installing, selling, maintaining, removing and disposing off site of all media; acting as a sole agent to potential clients for advertising; maintaining client relationships; performing all sales duties; maintaining internal procedures for screening content; providing NICE Bus with all required reports and projects; and paying revenue to NICE Bus.

Contract base term shall be for five (5) years, plus, at NICE Bus’ sole discretion, an option to extend it for a two (2) year term.

Transdev Services, Inc., doing business as NICE Bus, is soliciting bids from qualified bidders to provide firm, fixed pricing for the purchase of thirty-four (34) diesel paratransit vans for use in suburban transit service. There is No DBE Participation Goal for this procurement.
A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and prices will remain firm throughout the contract term. Vehicle  deliveries shall be completed within 180 calendar days of Contractor’s receipt of Purchase Order.  
All Questions shall be submitted to the sole point of contact by 12:00PM-Noon (EST) on Wednesday August 26, 2015.
Sealed bids must be received on or before Wednesday, September 30, 2015, 10:00AM (EST) by NICE Bus at 700 Commercial Avenue, Garden City, New York 11530. Bids will be publicly opened at 10:05AM EST on same date and at same location.

Transdev Services, Inc. doing business as Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE Bus) is soliciting firm-fixed price bids from qualified firms to remove approximately 422 each existing side view mirrors on buses, and to furnish and install approximately 422 each new replacement mirrors, on approximately 211 each Orion V and Orion VII fixed-route buses. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and prices will remain firm throughout the contract term.

There will be a non-mandatory Pre-bid Meeting/Site Tour to offer information to prospective bidders and to view the bus fleet on September 2, 2015 at 1:00pm EST. The Pre-bid Meeting/Site Tour will be held at Transdev Services, Inc. d/b/a NICE Bus, 700 Commercial Avenue, Garden City, New York 11530; it is strongly recommended prospective bidders participate.

NICE Bus hereby notifies all potential bidders that disadvantaged, minority and women-owned business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this notice and there will be no discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, disability or marital status in the award of the contract or any subcontract.
 
PROHIBITIONS ON PROCUREMENT LOBBYING: Pursuant to State Finance Law §§139-j and 139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between NICE Bus and a Bidder during the procurement process. A Bidder is restricted from making contacts to influence the procurement process, except as provided in the procurement process and/or where requested by NICE Bus from the earliest notice of intent to solicit bids through final award and approval of the Contract by NICE Bus (“restricted period”). Contacts must be made only by a Bidder’s designated staff unless a specific exception applies. NICE Bus employees are required to obtain certain information when contacted during the restricted period for purposes designed to influence the procurement process, and to make a determination of such responsibility that could result in rejection for contract award, or even more serious consequences.
