Transdev Services, Inc., doing business as NICE Bus, is soliciting technical and price proposals from qualified proposers to provide Bus Advertising Services on the interior and exterior of NICE Bus revenue fleets that consist of 40 foot Fixed Route Transit Buses, Para-Transit Cut-a-Way vehicles and Braun/Dodge Mini-Vans. Contract base term shall be for five (5) years, plus at NICE Bus’s sole discretion, an option to extend it for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. Services will be performed on federally funded assets owned by Nassau County. As such participation of small businesses including Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBEs) in all aspects of this solicitation is encouraged and supported. There is no DBE Participation Goal for this procurement.
All Questions shall be submitted to the sole point of contact by September 24, 2015 by close of business EST. Sealed proposals must be received on or before October 13, 2015, 2:00 PM (EST) by NICE Bus at 700 Commercial Avenue, Garden City, New York 11530 - Proposals will not be publicly opened. Proposers are encouraged to utilize the services of minority and DBE-owned banks, and other financial institutions, when such institutions are available. Information about such institutions owned and controlled by economically and socially disadvantaged individuals can be requested from the Project Director, Nassau County Office of Minority Affairs, at Nassau County’s 240 Old Country Road, Mineola, NY 11501 office.
