Starting on January 1, 2012, Veolia Transportation, a private company, manages all daily operations of on behalf of and under contract to Nassau County. Veolia conducts the hiring process, and when you accept a job for Nassau County's Public Transportation, you will actually become a direct employee of Veolia Transportation. In our hiring processes this fall, prior to commencing service in January, we are making it our priority to give priority to current MTA Employees who may be interested in working for Veolia Transportation.
