Introducing the "MY TRANSIT MANAGER" Smartphone App!


Able-Ride is excited to debut a new smartphone app enabling paratransit users to monitor the status of their trips in real-time. It provides riders the ability to see where the user’s bus is on a map, automatically receive text alerts of when their bus is about to arrive, if it is running late, and even if it’s been waiting outside their door. It can also be configured to inform family members or caretakers of the same trip status.

The App allows riders to manage their passenger accounts using their individual Passenger ID numbers. Riders can contact Able-Ride at 516-228-4000 to confirm their passenger ID, or for help setting up the app on their smartphone. 


1– Download "My Transit Manager by Transdev" from Apple or Google stores identifiable by the red and white icon. Click here for Apple iOS and for the Android/Google store, click here

2- Click "Create an account" button

3- Select "NICE" for your City/Service and hit "Next"

4- Enter Passenger Information and Client ID # and click "Register"

5- Set up your Passeneger Alerts to your liking, and you're ready to roll! 


Alternative Web-Based Alert System Self Registration Instructions

  1. Visit www.transitoms.com/vision2/Passenger_Alert.aspx
  2. On the Welcome Screen, click on FIRST TIME CLICK HERE
  3. You will be automatically sent to the REGISTRATION PAGE. Please fill out the information completely and accurately
  4. In the SELECT YOUR CITY menu, select NICE.
  5. Please type in the code in the VERIFICATION section.
  6. Once all the information is completed, click the REGISTER BUTTON.

A REGISTRATION SUCCESSFUL message will appear. Click OK and your password will arrive in your email. You can then sign on and customize your alerts.
