Starting April 5th, NICE will be running a modified schedule, based on our current Saturday schedules.  Weekday only routes such as the n16 and Shuttles will continue to run Monday-Friday.  Our website schedules and GoMobile app will display these timetables starting April 5th.  For additional details on our modified schedule , please visit the Passenger info section of our website.

The health and well being of our Community, our riders and our employees are our number one priority here at NICE.  And accordingly, we have instituted new cleaning protocols for all of our vehicles and Hempstead Transit Center facility.  All fixed route buses, shuttles and Able Ride vehicles are being cleaned and disinfected every 12 hours. Additionally cleaning and disinfecting is scheduled daily at Hempstead Transit Center.

Safe, reliable public transportation is vital to the safety of our Community.  We carry tens of thousands of essential workers, such as health care professionals, and first responders daily.  As a result, we ask that our riders take the following common sense health care precautions to insure everyone's safety:
  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or sleeve
  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Seek medical attention as needed
