We have adjusted our Holiday Schedule for Christmas Day and New Years Day. 

Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day will be an adjusted Sunday Schedule.  Please see timetable details here.  Schedules in the Transit App have been updated. 

 

On November 20th, the Nassau County Bus Transit Committee approved a fare hike for NICE full and reduced fare trips going into effect on January 4th, 2026.  This fare hike allows NICE to preserve the free transfer between our system and MTA buses and subways.  tThe MTA will be raising their fares on January 4th as well.

OMNY will also be available on all NICE buses for payment starting January 4th, 2026. 

On January 4th, our NICE and MTA fares will be as follows:
full fare: $3.00
reduced fare for seniors/handicaped: $1.50
Student and childrens' fare REMAIN THE SAME on NICE.

GoMobile tickets will increase accordingly:
single GoMobile ticket $3.50 (this is the same price as a single OMNY trip card from a OMNY vending machine)
multi GoMobile ticket packs $3.00 per ride
20 + 1 free GoMobile ticket pack $60.00.

Reduced fare tickets $1.50 per trip. 
Student and children's fare REMAIN THE SAME
