NICE alternative service to the subway

In preparation for a potential work action involving the Long Island Rail Road, NICE Bus is preparing to support Nassau County commuters by adding additional service on select routes serving key transit hubs in Hicksville, Mineola, Great Neck, and Freeport, with connections to subway service in Flushing and Jamaica starting Monday, May 18th.

These additional buses will operate during both the morning and evening rush hours and will be layered into our existing schedules to help ease travel challenges and maintain mobility throughout the region. Riders are encouraged to download the GoMobile app for updated real-time arrival information at their stop.

Please note, NICE will NOT be providing dedicated shuttles for LIRR passengers.  LIRR riders are encouraged to use our regularly scheduled NICE bus service routes for their travel needs.
